Secular Recovery Online Meetings for Atheists, Agnostics, & Freethinkers
In March 2020, as the COVID pandemic forced recovery meetings online, there was no central place where atheists, agnostics, freethinkers, and other secular people in recovery could easily find online meetings. This website was created to fill that need.
For over six years, thousands of people from around the world used this site to find support, fellowship, and recovery.
The website was always independently operated and funded primarily through personal contributions. Unfortunately, it is no longer financially possible for me to continue maintaining it.
Rather than simply disappearing, SecularRecovery.online will redirect visitors starting in July 2026 to Worldwide Secular Meetings so that this important service continues.
To everyone who attended meetings, submitted updates, donated, shared the website, or simply found hope here...

My own recovery has been enriched beyond measure by being part of this community.
This website was never about technology. It was about making sure that no secular person seeking recovery had to search alone.
